Build Plenty Of Small Niche Blogs Or One Well Structured AdSense Blog?

That’s a pretty good question isn’t it?

I prefer to have one big well structured blog over many small niche blogs because:

• You only have to maintain 1 blog
• You only need content about one niche or topic
• It is easier to write about 1 topic you know everything about
• It’s easier to update 1 blog  with new posts instead of multiple blogs
• The frequency in which you update the blog will be higher
• It is easier to silo structure a blog with many posts in categories and sub-categories
• (which is absolutely necessary if you want to please the search-engines)
• It’s easier to social bookmark and submit RSS feeds about 1 blog.
• It’s easier to send (or attract) traffic to 1 blog

I could list many other benefits here about using 1 blog to generate AdSense revenue from, but I think you get the idea.

An example could be a publisher who is specialized in ‘Coin Collecting’. Somebody specialized in this topic could make a lot of money from AdSense if he wrote all of his knowledge in small posts that describe one kind of coin.

He would be able to structure the blog in categories, depending on how he structures it, he could choose to categorize the coins geographically, such as :

• US Coins
• Canada Coins
• European Coins
• Etc…

But also in sub-categories:

Let’s assume that the Category is

European Coins

a sub category could be:

French Coins.

Or maybe from the Category

US Coins

he could create sub-categories with

• half cents
• cents
• 2 cents
• 5 cents
• etc…

Just to give you some examples.

To continue building and updating the blog, a coin collector could also dive into the history of coins. The possibilities are really endless.

I hope this  takes away the doubt that you can make enough money from 1 single blog.
